2 Easy Steps To Get The Perfect Bikini Body

Step 1. Check your pulse. Are you a living human being? If yes, continue on to step 2.

Step 2. Put on a bikini.

Ta da! You now have the perfect bikini body.  If you’re doubting if you’re ready to put on your littlest bikini because you don’t think you’re “summer ready”, do it anyways. Despite what society tells you, there are no size requirements you have to meet to rock a bikini.

The average American woman has 14 negative thoughts about their body each day. Typically, women spend way too much time worrying all winter and spring about how our bodies will look in our bathing suits come summer. In the months leading up to summer, we are bombarded by tips telling us how to get “flat abs”, “toned legs”, and a “tight butt” to “look good” for swimsuit season. Instead of working to change our bodies for the summer months, why not try to embrace the one we have right now? We should be grateful for the fact that our body pumps our blood, it beats our heart, it blinks our eyes, it regulates our body temperature, and we don’t even need to think about it!  Our bodies do so much for us, and we sometimes forget just how amazing it is. It helps us breathe, sing, smile, sleep, dance, laugh and countless other things that are so important for our health and our happiness. Women should always be proud of their bodies.

I remember what it felt like to wear a bikini for the first time at the beach three years ago. I remember the stares. The people pulling out their phones to take pics to send to their friends. These days, I don't think twice about those people. I think I blew a kiss to someone taking a pic of me during this shoot. 💋But it's not easy to wear what you want when society is screaming that your body doesn't belong in a bikini. It's still a journey and it's okay to be where ever you are in that process. I feel honored that I got to be there with @fearlesslyjustme when she wore a bikini for the first time on the beach! And I love how @hellarob captured this moment of us laughing because this is really a reflection of what it felt like to share this moment of freedom together!! walking into the weekend with a smile on my face because life is just so good. it's so easy to get caught up in the bad & neglect all the good. but when you change your focus, it's crazy how much better & brighter everything seems. I may not be perfect, but I do know that 1.5 years ago I wouldn't have been comfortable enough to be on the beach without a coverup on, let alone posting it for the world to see. but God has worked wonders in my heart & I finally feel good in my own skin. no, I'm not bragging on myself but on Him. if you are struggling, please know you're not alone & you're going to be okay. the Light always overcomes the dark 🖤☀️ #loveyourbody #bodypositive #youarebeautiful #eatingdisorderrecovery #recovered #thatsdarling #florida #neda
